Electric Daisy Carnival brings hundreds of thousands of people into Las Vegas. Somehow they manage to keep things moving, and getting to and inside the music festival is not that much of a hassle. Once you're in you'll see people parachuting from airplanes with sparklers all night long, each night features a world class firework, the venue is full of carnival style rides and art exhibits. The people there are all extremely happy and friendly, yes some of that may be due to drugs, but the vibe is amazing at the festival, drugs or no drugs.
If you're in Orange County in June, consider finding tickets to Electric Daisy Carnival and head on our to Las Vegas, you won't regret it.
From The Cheap Route.com...
Electric Daisy Carnival is the largest dance music festival outside of Europe, previously held in the Los Angeles area since 2000, but as of 2011 is being held in Las Vegas. EDC features 6 stages of world class dj’s playing over 3 days, at a venue with carnival rides, art exhibits, stage shows and more. Look up and you’re likely to see airplanes with LED screens showing messages to the crowd, people jumping out of planes spraying sparks everywhere as they parachute to the ground and a firework show to rival Sydney Harbor on New Years Eve. Thrown by the Insomniac company, EDC has gotten bigger and better every year, and is well worth a visit. Las Vegas is the perfect new venue for a festival of this magnitude.
Electric Daisy Carnival also travels around the US area to Orlando Florida, Denver Colorado, Dallas Texas, and Puerto Rico, however Las Vegas is the main show. Headliners and top acts for 2011 Las Vegas were Tiesto, David Guetta, Sweedish House Mafia, Ferry Corsten, ATB, Calvin Harris, Royksopp, Crystal Method, Steve Angello, Steve Aoki, Major Lazer, Martin Solveig, Afrojack (played twice), Benny Benassi, Above & Beyond, Empire of the Sun, Chuckie, Dada Life, Avicci, Dash Berlin, and many more.
